1. Introduction

Welcome to IhsanAcademy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by IhsanAcademy ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Services.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please read them carefully as they describe how we collect, use, and safeguard your information and how cookies are used on our site.

2. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

3. Content

Our Services allow you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, videos, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through the Services, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content on or through the Services, you represent and warrant that: (i) the Content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it and grant us the rights and license as provided in these Terms, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through the Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person.

Faith-Aligned Content Standards

To uphold the mission of IhsanAcademy, you agree that any Content you upload, publish, or share on the Services should be in accordance with the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the understanding of the first three generations of Muslims (al-Salaf al-Salih). Content that clearly contradicts these principles or promotes harm, hatred, or indecency may be removed or restricted at our discretion, and we may take action on accounts that repeatedly violate these standards.

4. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of IhsanAcademy and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of IhsanAcademy.

5. Payments

You agree to pay all fees or charges to your account based on the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable. If, in our judgment, your purchase constitutes a high-risk transaction, we will require you to provide us with a copy of your valid government-issued photo identification, and possibly a copy of a recent bank statement for the credit or debit card used for the purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

If you purchase a subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until then. By starting a subscription, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

6. Refunds

All fees and charges are non-refundable. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial subscription periods or unused Services, except where required by applicable law.

Access to the Services and digital content is provided immediately upon purchase. By completing your purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the Services right away and acknowledge that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any statutory cooling‑off or right‑of‑withdrawal does not apply once access has been granted or performance has begun.

Nothing in this section affects any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Your Responsibilities

To keep our learning community safe, lawful, and effective, different users have specific responsibilities. By using the Services, you agree to the obligations below, in addition to all other Terms and policies referenced herein.

School Owners

• Ensure lawful use of the Services and compliance with applicable laws and school policies, including obtaining any required parental/guardian consent where relevant.
• Only upload, share, or use content for which you have the necessary rights and permissions; do not infringe third‑party intellectual property.
• Manage teacher and student access appropriately; safeguard credentials; and promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised access or breaches.
• Moderate content and community behaviour in your organisation; respond to reports; and remove content that violates these Terms or your school policies.
• Protect student data and privacy; limit access to authorised personnel; and configure privacy settings in line with legal and policy requirements.
• Remain responsible for fees, taxes, and charges associated with your organisation’s use of the Services.

Teachers

• Use the Services for lawful, educational purposes and in accordance with your institution’s policies.
• Respect intellectual property rights when uploading or sharing materials; use only content you own or are licensed to use.
• Safeguard student information, maintain appropriate confidentiality, and avoid sharing sensitive data in public areas of the platform.
• Communicate professionally and appropriately with students; do not post content that is harmful, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Maintain the security of your account and devices; do not share your login credentials.

Students

• Use the Services respectfully and for learning; follow your school’s code of conduct and these Terms.
• Do not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or misuse of materials; submit only your own work unless collaboration is expressly permitted.
• Do not post or share harmful, harassing, or illegal content; report concerning behaviour to your teacher or administrator.
• Keep your login details private and secure; notify a trusted adult and us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• If you are under the age required for consent in your jurisdiction, ensure a parent/guardian (or your school) has provided any required permissions.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services, or notify us that you wish to delete your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall IhsanAcademy, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (iii) any content obtained from the Services; and (iv) unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

10. Disclaimer

Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

IhsanAcademy, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Services will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Services are free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Services will meet your requirements.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without giving effect to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of your local law.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

For material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the website home page and/or by sending an email to the primary email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
